Style Regions gives you the capability to change the styling of the website at any time. WebHornet allows you to customize
website colors and font colors using standard Hex color values.
1 - Access the
Control Panel. For more information on the
Control Panel,
click here.
2 - Locate the
System section under the
Page Tree. There will be a list of all
Templates that are installed in your website. For more information on
Installing Templates,
click here.
3 - Next to Each Template, a
Paint Palette icon is shown. Choose the
Paint Palette for the template you would like to edit.
4 - A layout of your
Template will be displayed.
- In the upper right corner, a yellow box titled Template Styling will appear allowing you to edit the HTML, Body & Advanced Styling. You will only see the Advanced link if you are an Administrator in Advanced Interface Mode.
- Each Style Region is identified by a Paint Palette. This will appear when scrolling over each Style Region.
- If the Style Region is small or hard to reach, it will be listed in the Template Styling box in the upper right corner.
5 - Click on the
Paint Palette icon of the area you would like to style. a
Style form will appear. You have the ability to change the
Background Color and the
Font Color of the
Style Region.
You can choose a color from the color picker or enter a hexadecimal number.
6 - After you have made your changes, click
Save. The changes will take place to the
Template and to the
Pages using the template. You many need to refresh your browser to see the change (Ctrl-F5).
Administrators in Advanced Interface Mode
For the Advanced Administrators, we have a link in the Template Styling area titled Advanced. Click on this to directly edit the CSS for this page. Some templates may be using background images. You are responsible for any changes made to the Advanced CSS area.
